Azmin Ali should declare his assets here and overseas

  Dear Azmin,
What is this principles espoused by the Pakatan Rakyat Government of Selangor you are talking about?  You only talk about the 22 contract workers.  What about the RM200 million donation from last election 13th GE you SAPU FOR YOURSELF while your colleagues had to beg for funds to contest in their area?  Why not donate a million to each of these 22 contract workers if you are really concern?  Why is MACC and PDRM keeping mum?  Is it because you are a trojan?  When was the last time you declared your assets. You think we do not know about your boys inside UMNO.

PETALING JAYA: PKR deputy president Azmin Ali wants Selangor Mentri Besar Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim to revoke the dismissal letters of more than 20 contract workers of the  Selangor State Development Corporation (PKNS), and apologise to the people.
In a strongly-worded statement issued Friday, Azmin, said Khalid's action was a "violation of employment laws and grossly inhumane".
"I call upon the powers concerned to immediately revoke the dismissal letters and apologise to the people of Selangor for such an inconsiderate and high-handed action.
"In the interest of justice and good governance, Khalid must stop using the PKNS as a personal weapon against his political rivals," he said.
On Tuesday, 22 contract workers of PKNS, including senior personnel, had been sacked with immediate effect, with no reasons given for their termination.
They were given two months’ salary as compensation.
The termination came following Azmin’s dismissal as one of PKNS’ board members amid reported rivalry between him and Khalid.
Azmin, who is also Bukit Antarabangsa assemblyman and chairman of the Selangor's backbenchers club, said the compensation of two months' salary had made the situation worse.
"It is completely against the principles espoused by the Pakatan Rakyat government of Selangor that all employees must be treated with dignity and compassion.
"While the sudden dismissal is harsh and will cause great financial loss to the employees, a severance pay of two months' salary only adds insult to injury," he said.
On Thursday, Khalid said the termination was necessary in order to give the company's permanent staff better career growth opportunities.
He said the decision came after much thought and study following complaints by the permanent staff that they were not able to move up in their careers because of the contract workers.
