A COUNTRY THAT HAS NO LEADER WILL BRING SUFFERING TO THE NATION.
A COUNTRY THAT HAS AN INCAPABLE LEADER CAN BRING SUFFERING TO ITS PEOPLE.
2014 HAS PROVEN THAT.

Only a fool does post-mortem to blame others and God

http://www.themalaysianinsider.com/malaysia/article/post-mortem-to-find-out-real-cause-of-floods-promises-muhyiddin
Me think we seriously need chopping knives to do post-mortem on WHY DONKEY CAN BECOME LEADERS IN MALAYSIA.
One has only to step out from one's door to see THE REAL PROBLEM WHY WE ARE DOOMED TO HAVE FLOODS.
So why waste time and money to do post-mortem WHEN THE ANSWERS ARE IN FRONT OF YOU.
AFTER THE FLOOD, WE DO NOT NEED POST-MORTEM TO BLAME OTHERS AND GOD BUT PREPARATION TO PREVENT ANOTHER DISASTER COMING SOON.
AND DO YOU THINK THESE MALAY DONKEY WILL ACTUALLY DO IT.  ME THINK UNLESS THE FLOOD GOES INTO THEIR LUXURIOUS HOMES THEN THEY WILL USE THEIR PRETTY HANDS TO DO THE RIGHT THING.
AND FOLKS LET ME TELL YOU THIS, THE GOMEN HAS SPENT YOUR MONEY ON PROPERTIES IN LONDON AND GUESS WHAT - NEXT YEAR THOSE PROPERTIES WILL BE UNDER WATER TOO.

From world tour to flood - WOW

THE BIGGEST HYPOCRITES ARE ON THEIR WAY HOME TO HELP RESCUE KELANTANESE.
PHEW, ME THINK THE HIPPO SHOULD JUST CONTINUE ON THEIR WORLD HOLIDAY PERMANENTLY.
SINCE BECOMING PRIME MINISTER OF MALAYSIA, NAJIS AND ROSIE HAVE BEEN THE BIGGEST BURDEN AND JINX TO THE WHOLE NATION AND MALAYS.

When there is a simple solution, why let the Rakyat suffer

Today many people are being displaced. Homes, roads and plantation are destroyed. Is there no solution to the yearly flood.  Man made problems are easily solve if authorities do away with red tapes and bribery.  Every Tom, Dick and Harry wants monetary returns for this and that.  There is not a single caring Government whether in UMNO, PKR, DAP or PAS run States.  Even Sabah and Sarawak have selfish Government.
Exactly to a year since I gave solution and warning about the due floods to a Senior Elite UMNO member who told the respective Governments, nothing was done.  States like Kedah, Pahang, Kelantan, Terengganu, Selangor and Kuala Lumpur were my main concern and I have been constantly asking them to use the method/solution to the coming floods but they were too egoistic and arrogant.  Everyone ignored me.  TODAY THE RAKYAT SUFFERS.
Yesterday night around Ipoh Road and Titiwangsa LRT the whole area flooded up to 2 feet.
Surprisingly DBKL is coming up with the worst solution, that is to widen the drains. One can widen to Ten times Olympic Size but IT WILL NEVER SOLVE THE FLOOD.
I have been dealing with DBKL for the past two years and I can tell you those holding the power inside whether they have graduated with colourful Degree or PhD, their otak have nothing inside.
DBKL officers love copying FAILED or OBSOLETE PILOT PROJECTS FROM OTHER STATES AND COUNTRIES because money can easily go inside their pockets.
Every year for the past ten years I notice that easily half the population working in the Government sector goes for holiday round the world in December. In other words NOBODY WORKS IN DECEMBER.  Business and students' funding come to a complete stops. So imagine your child studying overseas and need money for their expenses and university fees.  WHO CARES.
Japanese Engineers and Businessmen tell me that Malaysian Government and State Governments love for incinerators is one such example.  The Japanese do have incinerators but they are doing away with it because they have bypass the stage of burning and are now separating and composting their waste to refill back the soil taken for development, tsunami and earthquakes.  But we on the other hand LOVE TO BURN EVERYTHING IN SIGHT ESPECIALLY OUR RINGGIT.
TODAY'S FLOOD IN MANY STATES IS NOTHING COMPARE TO WHAT IS TO COME IN 2015.
SO IF THE GOVERNMENT CONTINUES TO BE CORRUPTED AND NON-CARING IT IS BEST THAT YOU ARE NOT IN MALAYSIA WHEN THE BIGGEST FLOOD OVERTAKE THE WHOLE COUNTRY IN 2015.  AND WHO ARE THE ONES WHO CANNOT LEAVE?

Merry Xmas and Happy New Year Folks

Be on the lookout for WGR 7586, Robber at Large

Kalau balik malam, memang tawakkal lah masa jalan nak pergi parking.

Malam tu, balik kerja macam biasa. Sampai stesen, jalan macam biasa jugak sambil bawak beg laptop dan handbag pergi parking. Tak sangka rupanya ada yang dah aim. Dipendekkan cerita, saya masuk je kereta, start enjin, tiba-tiba sebuah kereta kancil putih WGR7586 park dekat sebelah. Saya membunyikan hon tetapi ditumbuk kerana melawan. Bila barang dah kena amek, i thought it was over but i was wrong saya baru sedar yang kunci kereta saya ada dengan dia. Saya merayu agar dipulangkan kunci kereta tapi dia ugut suruh saya duduk ke seat sebelah kalau saya nak selamat, saya refused tetapi saya ditumbuk lagi dan dia masuk dalam kereta dan menarik tudung saya dengan kasar. Allahu allah. In within few seconds, tiba-tiba orang jahat tu melarikan diri.

Okay guys as a reminder tolong simpan nombor polis area rumah anda. Silap saya tak simpan nombor polis dan hanya dial 999 jadinya agak lambat proses untuk mendapat bantuan tu. Yes my bad. And I was like saya rasa saya dah beritahu semasa diambil keterangan dan walaupun dia pakai glove manalah tahu sebelum dia pakai dia ada pegang evidence tersebut kan?

One more thing, kepada pihak pengurusan KTM Batang Benar, sampai bila nak biarkan kawasan parking tu macam tu? Yes the CCTVs are functioning tapi "live" macam tu jela tak boleh nak search history. So semua CCTV yang ada tu are for display only ke? Ye, petugas kaunter cakap akan buat report, tetapi jangan sekadar report je please take some action tolong jangan lepas tangan. Dulu ada RELA yang jaga kejap dalam sebulan dua kalau tak silap saya, tetapi dah lari kerana katanya pihak pengurusan tak membayar gaji mereka. Jadi adakah kerana sikap pentingkan diri sesetengah pihak, keselamatan pengguna dibiarkan begitu sahaja? Macam tu? Adakah saya kena report dekat program 999, panggil Hazlin Hussain datang baru semua nak turun padang?

Sayangi diri, ingatlah orang tersayang.

Semoga kita sentiasa dibawah lindungan Allah.

Wassalam.

Selling country's assets to cover 1MDB loss WHILE THE MALAYS ARE SLEEPING

Mr and Mrs Rosmah have been selling the country's assets to cover 1MDB loss since last year.  Presently 25 acres of Government land is being offered for RM770 million in Ampang and a Chinese company has given a deposit to secure the negotiation.
This will be the tenth sale for the year 2014.
The next three Attractive Sales will be the old PM's office, FRIM and Zoo Negara.
Now do you understand why Kutty is jumping up and down while the Malays are sleeping.

Nepalese worker first woman in Malaysia jailed for terminating pregnancy

Although induced abortion is illegal in Malaysia, the termination of pregnancy is legally allowed if done by qualified doctors. – AFP/Relaxnews pic, December 5, 2014.A foreign worker from Nepal has become the first woman in Malaysia to be imprisoned for undergoing an abortion.
The Bukit Mertajam sessions court last month found Nirmala Thapa guilty of terminating her pregnancy and sentenced her to a year’s jail.
Nirmala, 24, was six weeks pregnant when she went to a clinic in Bukit Mertajam on mainland Penang for the abortion on October 9.
It was reported that she was arrested at the clinic that day when the premises was checked by officers from the Health Ministry’s Private Medical Practice Control Unit (Ukaps) during a routine inspection.
Nirmala, who worked in a factory in Penang, was charged on October 13 under Section 315 of the Penal Code for allegedly preventing a child from being born alive.
Under the section, it is an offence to prevent a child from being born alive or to cause it to die after birth. The offence is punishable by imprisonment for up to 10 years, fine or both, if the act is not done in good faith for the purpose of saving the life of the mother.
Nirmala was found guilty last month and sent to jail.
Dr Choong Sim Poey of Reproductive Rights Advocacy Alliance Malaysia (RRAAM) said Nirmala was the first woman in Malaysia to be sent to jail for having an abortion.
"We have checked with our legal experts. They could not find a previous conviction of this nature," he said.
The women's rights and health advocacy group's co-chair said what happened to Nirmala had raised questions about women's rights and how Malaysia treated migrant workers.
Although induced abortion was illegal in Malaysia, the termination of pregnancy is legally allowed if done by qualified doctors, as provided under Section 312 of the Penal Code.
Under this section, abortion is permitted if a registered medical practitioner is of the view that the continuance of the pregnancy will risk the woman's life or cause injury to her mental or physical health.
"Referring to Section 312, abortion is permitted," Dr Choong said, adding that there was also a 2012 document issued by the Health Ministry on pregnancy termination, which confirmed that the section allowed abortions performed by doctors.
A check with the ministry's website revealed that the Termination of Pregnancy Guidelines for government hospitals defined abortion as "the removal of an embryo or foetus from the uterus at a stage of pregnancy when it is incapable of independent survival (500g or 22 weeks gestation). It may be spontenous miscarriage or induced for medical or social reasons".
The ministry's guidelines are also confined to "procedures to remove an embryo or foetus where the pregnancy is less than 22 weeks gestation, or if the gestation is unknown, where the foetus is estimated to be less than 500g".
Dr Choong said Nirmala's conviction was "unusual" and regretted that she was "treated like a common criminal" for terminating her pregnancy, something many women have done.
"She did what countless other women have done. Why was Nirmala targeted? She was really unlucky.
"We learned that the girl did not even have a translator or a lawyer with her when she was taken to court," he said, adding that Nirmala had been in distress since she was arrested and sent to the Jawi prison and then the Pokok Sena prison in Kedah.
Dr Choong said it was not uncommon for foreign women working in Malaysia to have their pregnancies terminated quickly upon discovery out of fear of risking their jobs.
He said some of them might be tied to contracts with clauses stating that they were not to be pregnant while working in the country.
"I am not sure what repercussions they face for violating that clause. They might lose their jobs and have to pay their agents a penalty.
"That is why they quickly have abortions... such a clause is unfair to the women.
"This also raises the question of how we treat migrant workers. They have already spent so much money, paying premium to their agents, to come to Malaysia to get work, and then they must save money and send home as much as they can," he said.
Tenaganita director Aegile Fernandez said foreign women workers were tested for pregnancy when they enter the country for work or seeking to renew their work permits.
Fernandez said if the workers fail any of the tests, they would be deported.
“It is stated in their contracts that they will lose their jobs and be sent home if they get pregnant... So in Nirmala's case, she probably had no choice.”
She added that the group was also looking into Nirmala’s case.
Abortion is considered a taboo subject in Malaysia even though it is common. It was reported in the press two years ago that more than 90,000 abortions were done annually, according to the National Population and Family Development Board.
Although government hospitals provide abortion services, it is widely known that women generally go to private clinics to have their pregnancies terminated.
According to Dr Choong, an abortion can cost anything from a few hundred ringgit to a few thousand. He said the price depended on the clinic, adding that some doctors exploited the situation.
"An abortion can be just a 10-minute procedure. It is the most common procedure for women, but it is also the most overpriced," he said.
Meanwhile, Penang Ukaps clarified that Nirmala's case was not under the unit's jurisdiction. A spokesperson told The Malaysian Insider that action taken under the Penal Code was under the police's jurisdiction.
The spokesperson declined to elaborate on the case involving the doctor of the private clinic where Nirmala had her abortion, because an investigation was ongoing.
Asked if there were many private clinics providing abortion services illegally in the state, she said Ukaps could not reveal the "confidential data", adding that the unit was always conducting inspections.
The Nepalese Embassy could not be reached for comment.

Malay Mother Fucker

Many Malays are brainless.  Just because UMNO has been the government for century does not means that only UMNO can provide for its people.  IT IS THE DUTY OF EACH AND EVERY GOVERNMENT TO SERVE ITS PEOPLE.  In Malaysia only corrupted fools are trying to brain wash its people to think stupid.
If the opposition becomes the Government, it is their duty too to serve the people.  Until the stupid Malays like the Doc above think otherwise, MALAYS HAVE BECOME DUMMIES FOR LIFE.  HOPEFULLY THE FLOOD WILL WIPE OFF THE STUPID MALAYS FOR GOOD ESPECIALLY THE PRIME MINISTER AND HIS GOOD FOR NOTHING WIFE.

Stroke Indicator

I URGE ALL MY FRIENDS TO READ & SHARE THIS; YOU COULD SAVE A LOVED ONES LIFE BY KNOWING THIS SIMPLE INFORMATION!!!
Stroke has a new indicator! They say if you forward this to ten people, you stand a chance of saving one life. Will you send this along? Blood Clots/Stroke - They Now Have a Fourth Indicator, the Tongue:
During a BBQ, a woman stumbled and took a little fall - she assured everyone that she was fine (they offered to call paramedics) ...she said she had just tripped over a brick because of her new shoes.
They got her cleaned up and got her a new plate of food. While she appeared a bit shaken up, Jane went about enjoying herself the rest of the evening.
Jane's husband called later telling everyone that his wife had been taken to the hospital - (at 6:00 PM Jane passed away.) She had suffered a stroke at the BBQ. Had they known how to identify the signs of a stroke, perhaps Jane would be with us today. Some don't die. They end up in a helpless, hopeless condition instead.
It only takes a minute to read this.
A neurologist says that if he can get to a stroke victim within 3 hours he can totally reverse the effects of a stroke...totally. He said the trick was getting a stroke recognized, diagnosed, and then getting the patient medically cared for within 3 hours, which is tough.
>>RECOGNIZING A STROKE<<
Thank God for the sense to remember the '3' steps, STR. Read and Learn!
Sometimes symptoms of a stroke are difficult to identify. Unfortunately, the lack of awareness spells disaster. The stroke victim may suffer severe brain damage when people nearby fail to recognize the symptoms of a stroke.
Now doctors say a bystander can recognize a stroke by asking three simple questions:
S *Ask the individual to SMILE.
T *Ask the person to TALK and SPEAK A SIMPLE SENTENCE (Coherently)
(i.e. Chicken Soup)
R *Ask him or her to RAISE BOTH ARMS.
If he or she has trouble with ANY ONE of these tasks, call emergency number immediately and describe the symptoms to the dispatcher.
New Sign of a Stroke -------- Stick out Your Tongue
NOTE: Another 'sign' of a stroke is this: Ask the person to 'stick' out his tongue. If the tongue is
'crooked', if it goes to one side or the other that is also an indication of a stroke.
A cardiologist says if everyone who gets this e-mail sends it to 10 people; you can bet that at least one life will be saved.
I have done my part. Will you?

Congratulation Dasha Logan

Dasha Logan, daughter of late Alleycats singer, scores on British music charts

Dasha Logan is forging her own path in the music industry. - Photo by Andrew Khoo
PETALING JAYA: Dasha Logan, daughter of late Alleycats' vocalist Loganathan Arumugam, is herself making waves in the music industry and has notched her first hit on British charts with the single Cleverly.
Dasha's first-ever single rocketed up the UK Soul charts this week to the fourth-place spot.
The stunning 26-year-old said that she only learned her single was a hit on Monday, and was so shocked that she "didn't know how to react".
"I can't believe that I am number four, or even on a chart! It's exciting," said Dasha, adding that she did a "little happy dance" soon after she heard the good news.
The Penangite told The Star Online that she was really pleased with the positive response she received after releasing her single last month.
"I was pleasantly surprised when I saw it moving up on iTunes and Spotify. Now it is also up on sites like Shazam and Soundhound.
"It's amazing because these are the places where I'd look for songs from artists like Beyonce, and suddenly I'm there as well! It's mind-blowing," said Dasha.
Coming from a musical family, Dasha said that her biggest inspiration had always been her family.
"I grew up watching my father perform with the band, he is one of my biggest inspirations," said Dasha about her father Loga who passed away from lung cancer in 2007.
"I always knew that I wanted to be a singer, a superstar - that has always been my goal," she said.
"But I'm now at the point where it (the song) will either go up or down. It will be amazing if it will go up, and I'll be kind of bummed if it goes down. But it has been amazing just being on the list," said Dasha.
The singer-songwriter said that the melody for Cleverly came to her first and she struggled to come up with the right lyrics.
"I remember sitting down in London at an ice rink and I thought about my friend who found out that her boyfriend was married. I remember thinking how sad it was, and then the lyrics started flowing," recalled Dasha.
She finished the lyrics for Cleverly in an hour and said that she was happy with the words because it "fits the song well".
"It's a dangerous song. It's about cheating and telling guys that we are not stupid and we know when something is wrong," said Dasha.
Dasha said she has a new song coming out next year, and has plans to release an album with British label Areaboy.
"It took a lot of vision but everything finally played out. I had to step out of my comfort zone and do something I never thought I'd do, but it has paid off," said Dasha.
"I have to thank my family, who has been so supportive. If it wasn't for them, I won't be doing this," she added.

Foreign workers muse on the great Malaysian racial divide

Written By Selena Tay
This writer interviewed a foreign worker from a country torn apart by strife.
He has a diploma, is currently employed as a wiring technician, speaks good English and is staying in the same neighbourhood as the writer in Kepong.
Sharing his views of Malaysia, he said, "This country's administrative system is bad. In my eight- year stay in this country, I have seen much assistance given only to a certain race. If you think you are in difficulty due to not belonging to the 'elite', then we are no better as we have to 'pay extra' for some services, if you know what I mean."
He said that although Malaysia is still better than his country which is beset by internal strife, there is no leader capable enough of bringing this country out of the system and therefore the nation will go downhill fast.
20110609.171421 foreignworkerstHe mentioned that some of his colleagues who are not from the 'elite' community seemed to have lost hope and some are even thinking of going overseas to work illegally.
Great racial divide
In his opinion, the racial divide is a great impediment to progress as the government is still vindictive where a particular community is concerned, due to this community's support for the opposition in the previous general election.
He predicted that in the near future, Malaysia may experience an economic slump because of the Goods & Services Tax (GST) which he views as a terrible burden on the poor and the low-income group.
"Surely the poor will spend less due to the GST and some of them will find it difficult to make ends meet. I too will suffer," he remarked.
Another foreign worker, a neighbour's construction worker, said that he is going home soon as his country has  just elected a new leader who seems promising.
"If he turns out to be lousy, we will vote him out too, unlike you Malaysians who keep voting for the same party every general election. Soon you will come to work in my country just as I have done in yours, haha," he chuckled.

The 36-year-old was accused of committing the offences at Institut Terjemahan dan Buku Malaysia (ITBM) at Jalan 2/27 E, Seksyen 10, Wangsa Maju here, between 10.34am on June 4 and 3.21pm on June 13.
Mohd Firdaus may be jailed up to seven years and fined if convicted.
Deputy public prosecutor Najwa Bistamam sought for bail be set at RM15,000 for all three charges.
Mohd Firdaus's counsel Adenan Ismail pleaded for lower bail as his client has to both manage the firm he worked for and look after his young child, whose gender and age were not specified.
Magistrate Zuraini Abdul Razak granted RM2,500 bail for each three charges and fixed mention on Dec 15. Ridhuan was not present at court.

BEWARE - Latest Money Machine for UMNO Government

Some claimed that this unidentified object is a money making equipment for the government. Is this the government's new way of raising funds besides the GST? There is a speed trap camera in the dustbin.

Why attack innocent migrants?

Migrants do not simply walk into Malaysia on their own.
It is the politicians and Royal Household who are responsible for their presence in Malaysia.
In Kuala Lumpur there are estimated 60 illegal migrants who are working as TAXI DRIVERS  for our politicians and Royal House.
Don't believe TAKE A CAB and check their MyKad.  Most taxi drivers will tell you that the minute they arrive in Malaysia they are given a licence, MyKad and a place to stay.  They start work within 24 hours upon arrival.  Everyday at certain time they have to hand over the day's income to a runner at Times Square.
So now that a problem has arise, migrants are told to FUCK OFF.
But bear in mind this is only for now.
Come January 2015, you will see many migrants at your door steps.
WHY?  Because the UMNO Government need them to stay in POWER.

World's Loneliest Orangutan

World's loneliest orangutan does not know how to act like a primate because she has never even SEEN another of her own kind... while zoo visitors encourage her to smoke and force her to eat junk food

  • Katarina used to belong to Malaysian royal family but is now dying alone
  • She is kept in a miserable zoo with no companion, toys or leafy trees
  • 12-year-old doesn't act like an orangutan because she hasn't known others
  • Her mother was murdered when she was a baby, now she is on her own
  • Campaigners are desperate for her to get a mate as she is suffering so much

She was once the pet of Malaysian royalty but now the loneliest orangutan in the world pines away her days in a miserable zoo with no companion, no toys, no leafy trees and only a concrete block to sleep on.
It is believed Katarina, aged about 12 and about to grow into adulthood, has never seen another orangutan apart from her murdered mother and, says a devoted wildlife activist who is determined to find her a better life, because of her total isolation she thinks she’s the only orangutan in the world.
Alone in her squalid surroundings, she doesn’t know how to behave like an orangutan, unable to exhibit natural behaviours usually displayed in a leafy environment shared with other youngsters.
Visitors throw junk food at her and have been caught trying to force her to smoke a cigarette. She has no bedding and is forced to sit on cold concrete everyday for at least 12 hours after the zoo is closed.
Orangutans were sometimes referred to as the wild men of Borneo by British colonialists, but those days of centuries past were when the jungles were alive with healthy populations of the orange-furred ape.

Today it is estimated that only 50,000 remain in the wild on the Indonesian island of Sumatra and on Borneo, which is shared by Indonesia and Malaysia.
Their world is dying around them, as trees come down to make way for oil palm plantations and adult apes and babies are hacked to death by workers protecting the planted trees. For those people, hungry orangutans are pests which must be destroyed.
‘Katarina’s mother was without a doubt murdered because that is the only way you are going to get a baby away from an adult orangutan,’ says 33-year-old Upreshpal Singh, director of the Kuala Lumpur-based Friends of the Orangutans, a man who is totally committed to saving the apes as many other welfare groups in his country sit idly by.

VetiGel

The end of plasters and bandages? Revolutionary gel stops bleeding IMMEDIATELY and could be used on the battlefield to seal serious wounds

  • VetiGel works with the body’s healing mechanisms to clot blood on contact
  • It's being developed in a lab in Brooklyn, New York City
  • Gel is a plant-based haemophilic polymer that 'grabs' onto blood to clot
  • Takes under 15 seconds to staunch a serious wound and could be used on battlefields, medical emergencies at home and to replace plasters
  • Gel will first be used by vets to stop bleeding on animals

Whether it’s a cut in a kitchen, or a serious wound on the battlefield, the number one priority for any medic is to stop the bleeding.
And a new gel being developed in New York could save lives, because it can stop the flow of profuse bleeding within seconds.
Made from plant polymers, VetiGel works with the body’s natural healing mechanisms to clot blood on contact.

It’s the brainchild of Joe Landolina, a bio-molecular chemical engineer and former student of the Polytechnic Institute of NYU, who set up a Brooklyn-based company called Suneris.
VetiGel uses a plant-based haemophilic polymer that grabs onto blood and 'snaps it back together to seal the wound'

To make the gel, cell walls are extracted from a plant polymer and used in a similar way to Lego Bricks. When the ‘bricks’ are applied to a wound they reassemble to form a clot.
The gel changes shape and colour when it interacts with the tissue, which at first surprised the engineer.
It has antimicrobial properties and, when used by experts in sterile environments, is a safe, clean way to heal a wound.

VetiGel is effective because it works in tandem with the body’s natural healing process, in a new way,’ Mr Landolina told Bloomberg in a video.
In dusty war zones, VetiGel will most likely be used as a temporary fix to help soldiers until they receive proper medical help.
'Doctors would then remove it and treat the wound,' Mr Landolina explained.
‘Omar Ahmad, VP of Engineering at the Suneris, elaborated: ‘Let’s say there’s a soldier who is shot on the battlefield and has three minutes to live. A leading competitor can stop a bleed in five to 10 minutes - but he’s only got three.
‘You apply this [VetiGel] and not only will the bleeding stop within 15 seconds, it will stay stopped thanks to its high clot strength.’
Such technology, Mr Landolina claims, could save lives and replace 80 per cent of the wound-care market such as plasters, antiseptic gels and bandages.

HOW DOES VETIGEL WORK?

The gel has antimicrobial properties and disinfects a wound while it stops blood flow.

In dusty, dirty war zones, VetiGel will most likely be used as a temporary fix to help soldiers until they receive proper medical help. Here, soldiers carry a colleague who was shot in Iraq, for more conventional treatment
The company is working hard to get VetiGel to the point where it is an FDA-approved product for human use.
Our goal is to get this in every ambulance, every soldier’s kit bag and in every mum’s purse,’ he said, meaning that one day we could all do without plasters.
‘This means the product has to be easy to use by anybody,’ he added.
VetiGel is about to be used by vets. Mr Landolina told MailOnline last year: 'For humans there are similar products available, very expensive but similar, but for animals, there is nothing that coagulates blood quickly enough.
'I have spoken to hundreds of vets and heard how in situations where for example, a spleen is bleeding, they would rather take the spleen out than risk waiting for any of the current products to work quickly enough. So Veti-Gel would be very well received in this industry.'
Having performed clinical trials on lab rats, Mr Landolina said he is constantly amazed by how effective the gel is.
An experiment performed on a piece of pork liver that was hooked up to a blood bag to simulate an aggressive bleed caught experts’ attention last year, because the VetiGel seals off the wound and stops the bleed in seconds.

WHEN COULD THE GEL BE USED?

The gel will soon be used by vets to stop bleeding in animals.
More testing is needed before it gets FDA approval to be used on humans.
One major application could be on the battlefield.
‘Omar Ahmad, VP of Engineering at the Suneris, said: ‘Let’s say there’s a soldier who is shot on the battlefield and has three minutes to live. A leading competitor can stop a bleed in five to 10 minutes - but he’s only got three.
